Home Sweet Hurt.

When I originally created Home Sweet Hurt, the purpose was to keep our family back in Virginia updated on all of our life’s happenings in one place. We called Laurel, Mississippi home for nearly four years, but after the birth of our firstborn, we knew we wanted to be closer to our roots. It was bittersweet leaving our beloved, small town, but it was entirely sweet moving to Lynchburg, Virginia, where we could be close to both sets of parents. Our hands are full with babies and home projects, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s been hard work, but it’s also been the best work. I’m currently a stay-at-home-mom, and I’m learning how to navigate motherhood one day at a time. While raising tiny humans, I’m also exploring how to create and cultivate a sense of home for our family. We’re thankful for your interest in our lives, and excited to be sharing our family’s adventures with you – the good, the bad, and the blah.
